Lessons

Bible Encounter offers a wide range of lessons to support the teaching of  aspects of Judaism and especially Christianity.

Our lessons provide opportunities for the children to explore the Bible as a special book, to hear some of the stories and to understand their meaning for Christians today.

The format of most lessons is flexible - depending on the space and time available. They can be classroom based or hall based.

Classroom lessons are interactive and visual - bringing Bible stories and the Bible's Eastern culture alive.  Each lesson begins with the world of the child - enabling them to relate to the world of the Bible and its characters.

Where the hall can be made available several classes would be able to cycle through and take part in a 35-45 minute presentation.  A typical presentation in this style would explore aspects of Bible background and Eastern culture, involve the children in the telling of one or more Bible story and provide materials for a follow-up lesson in the classroom.
